A view from Mississauga. On. April 08/2024
The eclipse began at approximately 2:04 p.m. with the peak of the eclipse occurring at 3:19 p.m. for approximately 3 to 4 minutes, and ending at around 4:31 p.m.
Watched it on TV. It was very cloudy and by a miracle the clouds broke just minutes before the eclipse started.
'Om Bhaanve Namaha' means 'One who brings light. ' When you recite this mantra, feel a sense of deep gratitude to the sun for giving us light and making life possible on Earth. 'Om Suryaya Namaha' means 'Dispeller of darkness. ' In essence, it means that we thank Bhagwaan (God) for the sun for giving us light and energy.
