I saw "The Killing Fields" in Guyana in the late 1980s. It's about the atrocities of the Pol Pot regime in Cambodia in the mid-1970s.
Sunday night I watched a DVD version of the movie "Sometimes in April." It shows in horrifying graphic details the Hutu-led genocide against the Tutsi people in Rwanda in 1994.
Both movies forcefully make the point that man can be really cruel to his fellow man.

i have basic cable, no movie channels (at $100 bucks a month!). i'm not really an avid movie watcher, but some movies, like the killing fields and likely those you've recommended are must sees.
