Fans could be in for The Beatles: The Next Generation as three of the bandmembers' children have said they'd by 'up for it.'

James McCartney, Sean Lennon and Dhani Harrison are apparently all on board to follow in their fathers' footsteps, according to the former.

It is only Ringo Starr's offspring that could be holding up The Beatles Juniors.

During an interview with the BBC, James revealed: 'I'd be up for it. Sean seemed to be into it, Dhani seemed to be into it. I'd be happy to do it.'

But the 34-year-old added that Ringo's drummer son Zak wasn't as keen. 'I don't think it's something that Zak wants to do,' he said. 'Maybe Jason [another of Starr's sons and also a drummer] would want to do it.'
