I wouldn't say that I don't care what Afro Guyanese think. Seriously, I don't have the time to worry about it but I am also not doing anything to discourage anyone from caring. I get along very well with black people but I don't go out of my way to make that happen regardless if it is a black, white of other. Unless she has really nice boobs.
We Indian occupy a very peculiar position. Whites don't see us as blacks and blacks sees us as blacks. Because of this, both sides are very comfortable expressing their feelings towards each other. I usually just remain neutral as I have no intention of fighting either side's battle. My focus is on my two kids.
