* The Guyanese people now see their President as a leader with character and integrity. They trust him and have grown to admire and respect him.

 

* On the other hand, when they look at the clowns over at the AFC, they see a bitter opportunist in Moses Nagamootoo, a congenital liar in Khemraj Ramjattan and an accused paedophile in Raphael Trotman.

 

* It is clear as daylight which party will win the next election by a majority.

“Let me give you one startling figure that you never see in the press anytime. When we came into office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was getting more money than the Ministries of Education, Health, Housing and Agriculture, all put together. Today, we have the opposite situation, where the bulk of our investment, if you examine our economy, goes to the social sector – health – education  gets the biggest in this, 30 per cent of our budget,” he explained.

Citing the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) Expansion Project, President Ramotar pointed out that several airlines such as “Jet Blue”, had already conducted feasibility studies which pointed out the benefits of operating from Guyana.
