Woman jailed for marijuana in vaginaPDFPrintE-mail
Written by Jeune Bailey Vankeric in GUYANA CHRONICLE

TWENTY-YEAR-OLD Karen Small, who had initially denied having 22 grammes of cannabis (marijuana) in her vagina, was found guilty of drug trafficking, last week, Magistrate Adela Nagamootoo imposed a three-year prison term on Small  and fined her $26,400 with an alternative of an additional three weeks in jail. The evidence, led in the New Amsterdam Magistrate’s Court, said, on August 13 , 2011, police, acting on a tip-off, went to the home of the prisoner at Angoy’s Avenue, also in New Amsterdam, where searches were carried out on her adjoining business premises. But nothing of evidential value was unearthed there. However, the woman was escorted to the Central Police Station in New Amsterdam. Police Inspector Jairam Ramlakhan, prosecuting, led other testimony from Woman Constable Collins, who testified that, on asking Small to undress, she observed a white plastic bag  protruding from the woman’s vagina. The bag, when removed, was found to contain 15 small ziplock packets in which were leaves, seeds and stems of the prohibited plant.

Guyana is making the same mistake as in the US where they will fill the jail with petty criminals and have the big fishes sitting on easy street. I am sure those crooked cops know where to find the mulitkilos dealers in hard drugs and never bother them but prey these underlings instead.

Sending a young woman to 3 years in jail for barely over an ounce of Mary J is cruel and unusual punishment. They need to have some form of community service, compulsory rehabilitation classes and probation.

A feminine hygiene product launched in India which promises to 'brighten' skin around the vagina is causing widespread controversy.

A 25-second TV advert for Clean & Dry Intimate Wash is being advertised on prime time television, and shows a woman using the product to lighten her sexual organs to please her man.

The product has attracted condemnation on Twitter and blogging sites, with one (male) user branding it 'the ultimate insult' and others bemoaning the extent of discrimination against darker skin tones.

Such as???

Read some more and you don't have to ask "such as". You must be living somewhere that is isolated from the modern world.

One-gina is a turn off for some men and no natter how you decorate or cleanse, it's still a vagina. Indian men has a famous quote that says: I am a one woman man...........................at a time. It may be a tough product to sell in India, or may be not. Unfortunately, I married to my vagina.
