Japan has been doing 8K for a few years now, and over the air.
Doesn't matter here anyways, we will never have the bandwidth to see native 4 or 8K...cable and telecom companies are too cheap.
Internet streaming yes,off air may be a long wait.
By the way I am in Electronics Servicing Business since 1976.
Good to know
I am not a hobbyist. I am a Broadcast Technician. Professional Cameraman, satellite and microwave uplink engineer. Been working in the Television industry since 1990, and electronics tech since 1979.

The road was recently resurfaced from Parika to Vreed-En-Hoop. The stupid thing is they resurfaced the vehicle surface but not the "shoulder", so there is a 2" drop from the road to the shoulder. They are now starting to resurface the shoulder down in the Parika area. My question was why not just do the whole thing at once???
Guyana...???

Drones are kool. At the Guyexpo last year one was overhead.
Tony,
Thank you for posting the drone video of Albion. Its a huge improvement from the 12 exposure 120mm B&W film I shot in the 1960s.
They are exceptional quality and stirs a lot of emotions, since I left Albion fifty years ago.
When I photographed Albion in the 1960s, I had always wanted to do a fly over, but the opportunity did not exist. Your video fulfill my dream to see Albion from the air, in North Western Canada.
Albion multiplex was important to see. I remember when the place was first built with only one building called the Community centre, with a library and film shows with a Bell and Howell projector. One of my favourite movies at that time was To Hell and Back with Audie Murphy. Earlier that day I accidently cut my left toe while making a clothes beater bat and pulling off the remaining toe nail with pain, could not prevent my attending the free movie at the community centre. There were also common names playing cricket there, like Rohan Kanhai, Basil Butcher, Joe Solomon, etc.
Albion Front where Yollanda cinema once existed, gave me a reference to other streets and I was able to identify some buildings.
I worked on surveying the land and building Belvedere L-shaped school, that is located near our house, where I spent most of my teenage years. With friends now in their senior years and too sick to travel.
Our friend Milton did not like the night watchman putting his false teeth in his tea cup at night, so one day Milton partially buried the cup on the school concrete foundation, that can still be seen today. We chased dogs in the school once swamp area, that would kill sheep in the savannah.
Albion will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you Tony for sharing your gift in videography, as I have done for decades at a different time.
