Director Vetrimaran’s upcoming film Visaranai is already making waves abroad in film festivals. The latest to rave about it is director Vijay, who caught the film in the US.
“I became speechless after watching the film. It’s a hard-hitting subject and the way he had handled the story, screenplay and especially the characterizations of the cast were spectacular.
Everyone in the film was so real,” stated the Madraspattinam director in a press release, “Visaranai will be an identity for Indian cinema to the rest of the world.”
The movie, starring Attakathi Dinesh, Anandhi and Samuthirakani, is ready for release. The script of the film was inspired by a book written by Coimbatore-based autorickshaw driver M Chandra Kumar.
