Shanaz wouldn't last a week in Florida!

we were at the Mosque....and missed the whole thing....except for when the lightening brighten up the room.

but we got home to find son and daughter-in-law mopping up a flood in the basement

lived in this house for 21+ years.....and this was our first floor. that's how fast and hard the rain came down.

thank goodness it was only in the storage area and not the finished area of the basement

Under the bed is dusty.

Apparently lightening was flashing at the rate of 1000 every two minutes. It was a spectualar sight last night. More signs.....

I was on a flight from Monterrey, Califarnia to Washington, DC on Monday and we flew through a thunderstorm for abour 15 minutes. The lightning display was awesome.
