I don't think Indo centric policies are needed. All people asked for is not to conflate narco interests with that of govt. All they wanted was security and a professional police force. Good healthcare would help. I don't think Hindus want affirmative action.

There is nothing Indocentric about controlling crime, reducing the Berbice tolls, reorganizing the sugar industry so that GuySuco becomes profitable again or close it down and retrain and employ the workers elsewhere as the circumstance may warrant, and end the government control of the rice industry to name just a few.

I think people get lost with loaded terms like "Indocentric" and "Indian interests." These are pretty run of the mill concerns that are in Guyana's national interests.

Indians were able to send their children abroad to become doctors, Lawyers, engineers, university graduate.  They no longer had to become Christians  to qualify for a  teaching position. They were licenses to become merchants and to do any kind of business.  Don't forgot the PPP took them out of the logies like your grand parents.

Guyana will remain in the doldrums when you tell Guyanese who aren't Indian that they SHOULD NOT ASPIRE TO LEADERSHIP positions.  Blocked in BOTH the public and private sectors from upward mobility apparently the best option is to migrate to Barbados, Antigua, or St Lucia, where many have in fact FLED.
