Islam is the sister religion to Christianity and Judaism.  The same people that are in the Holy Quran are also in the Holy Bible.  The same thing is true for Zoroastrianism, Hinduism and Buddhism.  They are sister religions.  So for this cleric to destroy the bible does not make any sense.  What he is doing in reality is destroying part of the Holy Quran because most of the same stories and people in the bible are also in the Holy Quran.

Try pissing on the Bible and Santa Claus will not bring you presents this coming Christmas.

Try pissing on the Talmud and you are lucky if you keep your job and then find a new one, then they will treat you in the same way as they treat Muslims as a  pariah.

Christian preachers of the west have always considered Islam as part of the covenant between Abraham and God. They are wrong in their assesment.

God is greater and supreme to continue on and on to create religions for mankind to a have an understanding of his majesty.

He did set aside the Jews and instructed them on the laws, kosher foods, He fed them in the wliderness and He did personally spoke to them.

Just as Lucifer held a place of honor in heaven, likewise there has always been the existance of a Being of parallel importance in the realm of angels and churibs.

Both these Being were present at creation. Later, one choose to behave like a god and other choose to be consumed in all the attributes of God. The Hindu text gives a classic illustration of being in unwavering faith. It is said, a moth is attracted to the flames of fire, even it feels the heat, the moth persists, ventuuring closer and closer to flame. Within its complete comfort, the moth enters the flames and the flame is briefly illuminated-the flame glows brighter. In this case, it was for brief moment.  

That gracious Being offered to come to mankind so that through Him, God could achieve His purpose for His creation-mankind. Historians through the Greeks have called Him-Jesus, The Christ, Immanuel, etc, etc. His attribute are similar to God. It is like an ordinary father who has a son who is obedient in every way. The decisions of such a son is similar to the father-they are like one person.

That gracious Being came to the Jewish nation. The Jews had evolved into a disobedient ppl. With the nation Israel taken into captivity to nations of Assyria, Syria, Babylon and Persia only Judah remained.

And before the disappearance of Judah, Christ came with His message. Thirteen Jewish men came to Him and they recorded his works. Then the Apostle Paul took those works to the Gentiles. Paul wrote more than any of the Apostles and he gave clear understanding of the purpose of the Christ.
