yes it is.....staying away from the food that is

i don't think so
cookup is wet/mushy
pilau is more of a dry-down rice....and i usually add.....cloves, cardamom, geera, a touch of garamasala and lots of onion and garlic.
closest to it....is biryani rice, just with different spices.

no i dont' get fatter
i actually lose weight every Ramadan....mind you i does put it all back on within a couple of months of Eid

My eating is very simple. I eat a piece of bread in the morning and a small meal at the end of the day. We don't go through the ritual of cooking anything special. I stopped doing iftar at the masjid many years ago. So food is the last thing on my mind during ranadhaan.
