Aishwarya Rai was just another girl who participated in a beauty pageant who went on to win it by sheer hardwork. Ash was crowned with the title of Miss World 1994 and she hasn’t looked back ever since. The most glorious moment of her life changed everything for her. After a year of service as the Miss World, Ash went on to model and then forayed into movies. She started out with a South Indian film Iruvar before making her way into Bollywood.
After her Bollywood debut, she established herself as an actress to look up to and today she is one of the biggest icon of Indian cinema. From her acting to her style to her international appeal to her Cannes appearances, everything is popular with her fans and the Indian audience. She gave stellar performances in many Bollywood films and then married Abhishek Bachchan in 2007.
After marriage too, she continued enthralling the audience but had to take a short break from movies after delivering a baby girl, Aaradhya, in 2011.
Now, after four years of absence Aishwarya Rai Bachchan makes a comeback to Bollywood in a crime-thriller, Jazbaa. Directed by Sanjay Gupta, the film is set to release this Friday. She will also be seen in the Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma-starrer, Ae Dil hai Mushkil. With an exciting line-up of films it is going to be a new innings in Ash’s life.
