Why don't you focus on the fact that you are indicting 100% of the black community, because of what maybe 5% do.

Should I similarly condemn 100% of Indians because some are involved as drug dealers and gun runners?   Oh yes. I hear your screams now of stereotyping the entire Indian population, based on what some do.

.

Amazing the double standards which we see here.

And don't claim that Indian involvement in  crime is new. When the black choke and robbers snatched jewelry, who do you think bought it?  In fact who do you think PROMISED TO BUY IT, once they had supply?  There has been a long symbiotic relationship between black criminals and certain Indian "business men".

Where did I indict 100% of the black community? I stated that communities which are predominantly black are more dangerous than those which are not. I then posted a link arguing the same thing.

My bad. I cited that as a problem in the black community because even today, it is attributed to the ills in the black community.

No. You are getting caught up n semantics. That situation existed when I was a kid. I lived near Campbellville Housing Scheme and know of single mothers left to raise their children with no father around. I don't know if you have any knowledge of that housing scheme but for someone like myself living in a single family house in Prashad Nagar, it looked problematic to me. That area was one where I silently prayed as a kid as I go by everyday.

We can never have a serious discussion on race and crime in Guyana because many here are afraid to discuss it for whatever reason.

I do find it interesting that you object to the one example where I hinted on a cause as if you don't like that cause. There is no bigotry in me bai. I mentioned yesterday or the day before that most of my bike friends were blacks. That does not change the facts I listed or which were supported in the article I listed.

Of course I thought that there was something significant to the link. While I quickly scanned the article, I just googled it since I felt just stating it would not be sufficient for me.

Dude, the effect of the complete emptying of a country is on going in Europe. How is that independent of the cause?  The effect is Europeans bickering and questioning if ScHENGEN is appropriate for them and it will remake the composition of Europe but what the hell does that have to do with the people themselves and not the cause that drove them to such extremes?

Listen Buck d2,

In order for Guyana to move forward and address the current crime epidemic, Blacks must own up to their actions and stop blaming others for their problems and stop accusing those who provide evidence of crime and criminal activities as racist.

That very epidemic will soon eat away at their own communities.

FM

Try walking at Jane/Finch in Toronto at night and see what happens to you.

Try driving a Benz to the neighbourhood and parking it for an hour and see what could potentially happen to it.

Wear an expensive gold watch or chain and walk around at night and see what happens to you.

How many are on welfare and how many single mothers, how many shootings compared to the rest of Toronto combined ?

Someone must finally own up to their actions. The problem is that a certain segment of a community constantly blame others for their problems.

And this is the whole Indo KKK sadomasochistic vibe.  Do they "love" blacks to beat them up?  Sure seems so, as their entire reference towards blacks has a focus on the violent and criminal MINORITY.

Kaz is now joining them.  There are many black communities in Guyana which were perfectly safe, even some which weren't affluent, but he choses to focus on the violent areas.  Hmmmmm!

Funny thing this.

1.  In the 70s the choke & rob boys stole jewelry and gold and sold it to INDIAN jewelers, who were looking for a cheap source of gold, and so wanted it from criminals.

2.  Scroll to the Jagdeo era when Indians armed black criminals to be their private armies, and then didn't care what these people did with these guns.

So are Indians the "innocents" in all of this that some claim them to be?  As with the drug trade in the USA there is a symbiotic relationship between black criminals and non blacks who support their activities, and at times, even financing it.

Here is ANOTHER instance of BOTH guilty and BOTH suffering (as blacks are also victims of crime, and most blacks murders are of other blacks).  Yet only "blackman" to blame!

FM

And why didn't you also point out the rampant pathologies which exist within the Indian community.

Indo women might be married, but many are to brutal men who brutalize, and on occasion even kill them...certainly impoverish them when meager earnings are spent on liquor and not food.

The extremely high suicide rate among Indians.

We have this whole phenomenon of Indians killing their own relatives, or paying others to do so.  I have yet to hear of such behavior among blacks.

And I can go on.

In fact even in NYC when I hear of an Indian involved in a bank robbery I know that it is a Guyanese.  So maybe Asian Indians are afraid to walk around in Indo Guyanese areas in NYC as there is a good deal more alcohol fueled violence.

So while we are outlining the various pathologies, let us not limit it only to those of one race.

BTW these broken Indo homes, where boys starve because "daddy drinks out the $$$ and then beats up every one in the household," are now becoming a rich NEW source of criminality in Guyana. Violent crime is no longer the sole province of Africans.

In addition while African bandits attack every one, it appears as if Indian bandits focus on their own Indians.  Maybe you can explain why, as the Corentyne fishermen would love to know.

The thing is yuji, cobra and rama ENJOY being beaten up by thugs.  Its a masochistic fantasy.  It would not surprise me if the ones in Toronto walk around Jane Finch, and the ones in NYC go into ENY with cash pouring out of the pockets, begging to be attacked.  They then will extend such behavior to the entirety of blacks to justify their own bigotry.

Just your normal refusal to deal with the fact that Indian racism is just as bad as has black racism been by screaming "black man a beat ahbe".

Alcohol fueled violence is rampant among Indians so do not pretend as if there aren't real threats of violence either.  Blacks are well aware that when they see a group of drunk Indians, maybe they need to find another route.

Note taken of who stole young Cassius Clay's bike.

Incidentally I never forgot who stole my bike and when I grew older and was working and riding around on my motorbike, the same guy used to ask me for money. And I used to give it to him.  I was a free giver for many years before I left Guyana. The guy's name was Django and he used to live in Thomas Street Kitty. Sure I can rise above my victimization but don't have to forget if I don't care to.
