This is love

Sometimes we become too distracted by all the traditions that we miss having fun. I saw one moment of love when he looked in her eyes and a moment of happiness when he held the bottle.
My wedding was very relaxed with lots of fun. Everyone seem to have enjoyed it.

I was looking for a smile in the first video.
They were too serious.
Guess they were under lots of pressure.
The couple in the second video seemed so relaxed.
It looked so much like a part of a Bollywood movie, but it was real.

the first couple could be worrying how they were going to pay off all the wedding debts.
the second couple looks like they have it all
some people want to have the perfect wedding day and the stress can actually ruin the big day...i have seen it at a few weddings.

Hey Rosie, I went to a wedding in Bel Air where the groom got up and whoop his brother in law. I tried to calm him down (had many instances where I intervened to calm people down) and he told me that his brother in law just kept complaining about his sister and he couldn't take it anymore.

How many of you wed through match making and still love your life partner to this day?
In Guyana a group of young men pretend to be interested in match making weddings just to see the girl, eat and drink the people food and rum and then never to up again. That is a shame and a heart breaker for any man's daughter. Anyone heard of similar situations?

Match making weds played well with the older generation. It's still encouraged by elders, but the younger generation is shying away from it. We're losing our traditional values bit by bit.

Which era are you from Cobra? My dad told me stories that a group of guys in their days did that and they thought it was all fun.

Fun? They're lucky it wasn't my sister they were fooling around with. It still happens in some parts of Guyana. Only Sunday I heard of one such incident that took place in Berbice.

I know someone who did that back in the mid 80s. That was so wrong...they visited several houses and eat and drink and never showed up again.
