I remember in the late 70's while I was still in Guyana he was top of the charts and his tunes were playing all around.

I got a cd with some of his best.
Amral, SYLVIA from the song Sylvia's Mother, does exist.
The song was about Shel Silverstein - yes the author, song-writer etc - love for a woman name Sylvia...

I have shared many nights with the Dr playing in the background
Dr Hook and the Medicine Show, in the early eighties they performed in Toronto and I have their autographs on a US one dollar bill, I think it was at the Molson Theatre.
