Carib,

You all Afros would have voted out the PNC  a long time ago if the demographics were like that of Barbados.

And we don't because of fear of Indian racists like YOU!

Are you not afraid of those former PPPites who are now in the PNC's camp?

I don't care one bit about them.  The PNC can do as they wish.

All I am telling you is that the racist attitude that PPP displays will keep Africans and mixed voters away.  Given that Amerindians tend to vote for the party in power, the PPP loses many of those votes as well, especially as the few signs of proactivity by Granger is in their direction.

One day you will understand is that there is no longer a majority ethnic group in Guyana, so getting all the Indian votes isn't enough. 2015 should have taught you that.

Even with the power of incumbency, which allowed the PPP some non Indian votes, they still lost.  By 2020 the Indian vote will be even less important, and maybe even more splintered.

GuyExpo 2016 underway…Event must be launch pad for businesses

The Sophia Exhibition Centre came alive last evening as hundreds braved a brief period of inclement weather to get a glimpse of Guyana’s diverse heritage, tradition and business potential, as the Government’s premier annual trade fair and exposition – GuyExpo – commenced.
GuyExpo 2016 will conclude on Sunday.

President David Granger, Business Minister Dominic Gaskin and GuyExpo officials flank First Lady Sandra Granger, as she cuts the ceremonial ribbon to officially open the event.

With approximately 260 booths set up at the centre, participants got a chance to take a glance at an abundance of creativity and production capabilities.
While many repeat-exhibitors dominated the expo, a few newcomers were seen setting up shop. Many exhibitors travelled long distances to be present however; their aim being more than to just make a β€œquick buck”. A fair number of them seized the opportunity to expand their reach to other entities and to attract potential partners and sponsors.
The Guyana Police Force Steel band and the Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry/Buxton Steel Orchestra took turns to wow the audience with renditions of popular folk and contemporary tunes and rhythms.

Do you know that the PPP held this event for many years, and folks like you used to scream that it was progress?

Of course a lot of wining went on, with Ramotar and Jagdeo backballing any negress who would allow them to do this.

Noteworthy is they avoided the numerous wining Indo females at these types of events.
