because there wasn't much snow??

I don't work but have a little volunteer thing and when there is snow the company is closed and we have to do a makeup day. I believe there should be snow days and that sounds fair. They don't want to have a memory loss of the labor of work when nature celebrates with snow or rain because this means that mother nature rules life and not the economy.

Is it safe for you and your fellow employees to circulate a petition or in the morning if there is a meeting to mention it to management or even leave a note in the suggestion box for snow days? The heart and soul would like that knowing that compassion is being expressed.
