100 years of Bollywood have given us a lifetime of fashion! And when it comes to fashion. There are four Bollywood celebs who are the perfect exemplars for all fanatics to look upto!
If you pick a few people from the galaxy of stars in Bollywood, there are some who are in themselves a style trend and have created a rage among the masses. Then there are people who have not let their stardom take over their fashion quotient, and they've kept it basic yet stylish. Check out these four fashion journeys here:
Ranveer Singh
If there's one man in the film industry who took the fashion industry by storm, it's none other than our very own BaBa aka Bajirao, Ranveer Singh.
Heβs got no dearth of energy and he infuses the same into his style quotient. Itβs vibrant, dramatic and out of the box!
This man has not only smitten us with his craft, but also with his personal style statement.
When Ranveer signs a film, he becomes that character in real life! He breathes, eats, dresses and behaves the same way as he does on celluloid.
He never follows fashion trends, he creates one!
Right from being Bittoo Sharma in Band Baja Baraat, to Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl, Baba took baby steps towards new style statements. From wearing casual t-shirts and showing off his six pack abs until his second film, this man took a leap of faith with Lootera.
Ranveer became Varun Srivastava and donned understated shades of cream and white for the first half and then sported stubble for the latter half. By this time he was shooting for Ram Leela where he was heavily bearded and went all out on colours as a Gujju.
We think a part of Ram stayed in him forever, and hasn't left him yet. He then underwent a sea change with Zoya Akhtar's Dil Dhadakne Do where he pulled off casual wear like a boss and spiked gelled hair! His look and craft were never more in sync since his entry in the glamour world.
Bajirao Mastani happened and the rest is history. His iconic moustache to frock style suits, and his off the reel avatar of floral blazers and experimental prints became a rage. He actually brought a real revolution in style and his contemporaries surely felt the wave. Not everyone can carry those looks like a boss like Ranveer does.
He's now in his Befikre mode and the moustache was shaved off by his lady love quite a while ago, but Ranveer surely has earned the medal for the most iconic and real style evolution that ever happened in Hindi films. He also sported a nose ring on the cover of L'officel and he aced it.
No wonder he's always in a victory mood! From Bittoo to Bajirao, Ranveer is the new style icon.
