i used to have audio cassettes with songs from Anmol Ghadi, Dulari, Hariyali aur Rasta, n CDs of Nagin ,Madhumati

i have abt 13 CDs ..

a friend used to download from MP3 ..n he used to email me songs ofmy choice

i arranged them to my taste n copied on to CDs

so these r some ofmy top faves

i grew up hearing my  Maa sing songs..she used to rock me in hammock n put me to sleep every night

she understood ‘Hindi’ as her mom came from India

so she used to translate for me whn she took me to see movies..n also explained wht the songs meant

these songs take me down memory lane…with my Maa
