The question has been raised many time and moreso recently with Shaitaan's temporary absence of leave.
Are public figures subject to scrutiny and characterizations that are insultive considered off-limits while personal attacks on posters considered fair game?
Whatever the answer to the question, there have been instances where public insults and ridicule (race and gender) like those on the US President and homophobic remarks and cartoons on Guyanese politicians including its President, while private ridicule and cartoonish attacks were left untouched. There have been instance of the reverse - like the recent comments on Guyana's Education Minister and some personal attacks against some posters here. What's consistent is the use of pornography, but the lines are blurred when it comes to sexual and racial attacks.
Let's hear from y'all.
