* Ask your dad---I believe Puma came out in the 1970s---two colors or flavors---pink and yellowish.

* You ever had Puma and channa loaded up with geera over at Charlie's opposite Rama Krishna ?

* Actually by the time you started Rama Krishna---puma was out of production.

the best channa was available at Bettencourt's next door to Rama Krishna and Puma did not stop production late 1978

Bally:

It was not just the channa---it was that sweet, delectable "salsa" like sauce that Ms Bettencourt made and put on top of that channa that made it awesome. You're right! Best channa I ever tasted.

Well, your answer is correct.

Congrats!!

Portello trivia: I can't remember drinking Portello in the 1950s; I remember seeing a case of empty Portello bottles in my grandfather's home at that time.

Portello is still consumed in some countries, sometimes with the Fanta label.

A piece of ice in limewash on a hot day, with salt biscuits, while cutting  and mashing rice, was a welcome treat.

Lemonade was the first bottle soft drink in Berbice and still in production.

The lemonade truck would get stuck on muddy streets and after assisting to push it out, we would be rewarded with bottles of lemonade.

Christopher the baker, did the same with his bread van.

Lime wash was an everyday drink at lunch. It was so refreshing.

I remember a lemonade truck from the Correntyne that would deliver to Canje. I think the company was Jai Jairam and Sons from Rose Hall. They were down the street next to Anthony's Inn.

I love Fridays; meaning I don't have to work on brain ticklers for the next two days.

Alright, let's shoot.

Guyana's main international airport is named after a Guyanese man. When the airport started operating, it was named after a foreigner. Give the full name of that foreigner and his nationality and give the exact date when the airport was officially opened. Winner is the first person with all three answers correctly. No second prizes today.

good morning

Technically, Riya answered the nationality question correctly: American.

Your answer suggests the nationality. As I mentioned before, always read each quiz carefully.

I'm awarding the prize jointly to you and Riya. Y'all don't fight as to whether you get one-half or two-thirds.

Congrats!!
