* There is no need to be peevish and irritable.

* It looks like you have an axe to grind with the Rev.

* Now antabanta, this was the question you posted earlier:

Rev I just want you explain to po Anta how to exude worldliness pon de rest a dem sanitation engineer people dem

* Why are you annoyed that I asked you to explain the meaning of "EXUDE" ?

* Let us return to "HABITS THAT EXUDE SUCCESS" ---pulled from Men's Health magazine:

* The author was actually addressing tendencies or practices or behavior patterns that ooze or radiate or emanate success.

* So we now understand the meaning of EXUDE.

* I rather suspect the word "SUCCESS" confused many of you. We can delve into that later.

* Listen antabanta, if you have an intelligent question for the Rev, I'd be delighted to answer it. But if you choose  to sarcastic or if you have an axe to grind, which I suspect you do,  or if your intention is to be verbally abusive like the others, then I'll ignore you.

* The choice is yours.

* Remember---the Rev will only respond to intelligent questions.

My idrine... is how you dealing suh? Yuh fren Anta just ask you one simple lil question and you gaing on and gaing on about vex and irritable and sharpening axe and annoyed and confused and all kindsa insults and tings you just hurling at you pardna. Why you have to be like that?

Is every time somebody question you dem vex? Or dis is yuh strategy to distract from yuh stchupidiness? You know you and me gon kyant be frenz if you continue dis heah bizarre behavior.

And who is dis "we" that now understand the meaning of the word exude? You mean "oui"? Ah ketch yuh rant deh!! Bet you didnt know you bai Anta kyan talk French!

Ole Anta gat an intelligent question.

Revie.... my good friend Revie... in the article you posted one item suggests that worldliness exudes success, worldliness defined as being au fait with world affairs. As a reader of the article which you posted on a public forum ... for the public to read... because it's a public forum... and for the public to comment on ... because it's a public forum... and myself being an avid member of said public... until I die... anyway... as a reader I solicit your advice on how, I, your friend and Idrine, should exude worldliness in order to portray success in my career as a sanitation engineer. Could you squeeze some time in your busy schedule to provide an answer?

antabanta:

* The Rev strongly suggests that you sharpen your reading comprehension skills. It's woefully lacking.

* Remember, the author in Men's Health wrote an article titled "HABITS THAT EXUDE SUCCESS"

* And this was one of those habits he says exudes or emanates or radiates success:

HABIT #7: BE WORLDLY

* Know what's happening in the world--be informed about current events.

* You see "Mr. Scholar" antabanta---the author wasn't implying that "being worldly" would help one to achieve success in one's profession. All he was simply saying is "BEING WORLDLY" is a HABIT or tendency or a practice that would ooze or emanate or exude success.

* You and the Rev may have to have a discussion on what "SUCCESS" really is. You seem to be baffled by that word.

======

* You mentioned being a SANITATION ENGINEER antabanta---the Rev will shower some praises on your profession later on.

* But don't forget antabanta---work on your comprehension skills---please don't be offended---listen! you can't expect to have a meaningful discussion with the Rev if your reading and comprehension skills are poor.

Rant pardna... now me baffled and lacking comprehension skills?? You really fishing up you frend.

Hear nah dready... don't these two statements say the same thing?

"one item suggests that worldliness exudes success"

""BEING WORLDLY" is a HABIT or tendency or a practice that would ooze or emanate or exude success."

Where did your ole friend Anta indicate his lack of comprehension by suggesting that your post of the author's article intimates worldliness is a requirement for success? It seems that you fail to realize I have been very careful to ask, and still continue to ask, your assistance on how can I, in my vocation as a sanitation engineer, use wordliness to exude success. Isn't that what the author is saying? Are you afraid to enter into frank and open discussion with Anta although you have been pretending to beg for objective discussion? How is it that a man of your aptitude, accomplishments and intelligence could so easily confuse what I asked with what you hope I asked? Bai.. you mek meh hand fall.

since no female has dared to post on this thread, I will try and be brave and take my chances..... .....so go easy on me with your responses

why don't you fellas all chill and let Rev post what he wants.

there's nothing offensive about his initial posts....correct?

so either you read and ignore or you don't read and just ignore.

I honestly don't get all the negative/crazy responses

Villagebelle

Well hello VB... you're most welcome to join the convo. I'll refrain from the classic obvious response that you can follow your own advise and chill and let me post what I want.

So are you suggesting I should ignore my friend Rev's plea, that is pleas, for discussion? You think my request for assistance from the learned gentleman is unreasonable?

antabanta:

* You have clearly misconstrued what the author was saying.

* You ought to swallow your false pride and admit that you misapprehended what he was saying.

* The author never said that "worldliness" would help you to be successful in your SANITATION profession.

* Speaking of SANITATION.

* SANITATION is an admirable field anta---it's a field that is taken for granted by many. But the truth is SANITATION has likely done more to increase HUMAN LIFE SPAN than many drugs and surgery.

* Look at countries like India---improved SANITATION would do wonders for their Life span rate.

* You mentioned SUCCESS in your vocation.

* If you want to have greater success as a SANITATION ENGINEER antabanta---it's all up to you---success is not something that is magical or mysterious---it's all up to you---set yourself goals---devise plans---put those plans into action---if they fail---re-evaluate and try again---keep on doing and trying until your goals are achieved---that's SUCCESS.

* Look! There is no magic formula for success---success is getting what you want----and it belongs to those who dare to achieve it. It's all up to you antabanta. I wish you well in your SANITATION profession.

Let's break it down Revie... Where did I say this?
To be precise... since something seems to be drastically inhibiting your ability to understand my words... How can I use worldliness to exude success (not gain success, not achieve, not be be successful) but to exude success. I repeat... please read carefully word for word. How can I use worldliness as a sanitation engineer to EXUDE (your word) SUCCESS (your word). I think your own multi-colored posts are confusing you. I repeat... NOT GAIN success but EXUDE success..as stated in the article you posted.

* A lot of these guys have an axe to grind.

* You have read the vulgarity from 60 year old Mitwah---he prides himself in being a pandit.

* In another thread, antabanta referred to 2 of the classy and respectable women in Social, Riya and Miraver, as axe murderers.

* So the churlish behavior they exhibit in this thread is to be expected.

Oh no!! Revie! You got me!! and my churlishness!!! What am I going to do now!!?? Is a good thing you never see the other jokes I've made with the ladies on this forum.
But we know your last reply is just a feeble red herring.

You plead for objective discussion then run away when it's offered.

All I'm trying to point out to you are the fallacies in the article you posted. Namely striving to exude success does not mean success, some of the habits do not apply to some environments. People who are successful generally do not waste time striving to exude success, just like people who are intelligent do not waste time trying to look intelligent.

In response you post your usual condescending hogwash. What's the matter.. are you just trying to get applause from the mediocre readers or do you really want discussion?
