@Totaram, you are a joker. Go tell that to the international community.  They are all calling for the constitutional process to be followed.

The Americans already said regardless of the ruling, the verification process for Region 4 MUST be completed in a transparent manner or any Govt will be deemed illegitimate.

So are you saying everyone is wrong the the PNC are the only ones right?

There is one and only one truth, the Coalition was crushed at the polls and now they trying to thwart the outcome.

Jagdeo, Shuman and the rest of the opposition needs to bring down the hammer.  The PNC will not get away this time.  They did for 28 years, they won in 2015, they lost in 2020!

@Totaram, yes, I am now realizing that and I do sense the racial bias on this forum but I am trying to be above that.

I am only here to provide a perspective on the facts. I am also not a PNC pawn, as some have previously implied. I am a daughter of Guyana who also happens to be an attorney with high respect for the law and the impartiality of the court. I am confident the our Chief Justice will rule on the FACTS and the written LAW. It is my hope the members of this forum can give her that respect.

@Rochelle, Guyana could be sanctioned and Exxon continues and the money goes to escrow!  It's offshore, Guyana has no means to inhibit Exxon's operations.  Furthermore, the conflict will spread like wildfire and watch the international community.

The PNC are not the be all and end all to the rule of law.  You don't just decide as you see fit and if you're hoping to blackmail the US via Exxon, I would be careful.  The US has a "no holds bar" president!

@Totaram: Ksazma is hardly an independent authority.  In fact, he has made racist statements about black people on this forum.  PNC paid propagandist?  You rass head good?

Me head good. Both of them.

That said, I am seriously thinking of grabbing you by the balls and shove you into Canje Mad House, your last place of abode before you escaped. Either you are a circus clown or an imbecile parading as an authority on Guyana politics.

Blacks don't deserve any more care than anyone. If we can criticize other groups we can also criticize blacks. If blacks want to clutch onto race crutches for excuses then it is perfectly proper to identify where their group has shortcomings. You can call that racist remarks how much you want but while they are clutching on those crutches, others are finding ways to remove their own shackles and freeing themselves.

There are two major parties supported by primarily people of two different races and for all the years that both have been involved in government, which party has continuously violated law and order to stay in government. It is not my fault that the predominantly black party has not conducted itself with civility so I don't intend to carry their crosses.

@Baseman, please kindly conduct some research. Any country sanctioned by the United States prohibits US-based companies, including ExxonMobil, to conduct business in such sanctioned country.

Please research OFAC - Office of Foreign Assets Control, for further information. In fact, ExxonMobil recently was fined and had to withdraw from an oil discovery deal off the coast of Siberia after it was fined by the U.S. Treasury for engaging in business with a country that was on OFAC's economic sanctions list.

There are different types of sanctions under OFAC. What is being called for by the PPP/C is an economic sanction against Guyana should Granger stay in power. Please provide me a list of countries that a United States-based company still conducts business with where an economic sanction is currently imposed? I'll wait.
