President Jagdeo is no fool, he did not use the "Albion Jam" to announce the election date. Kitty is IN THE CAPITAL OF GUYANA AND ALBION AS YOU RIGHTLY SAID WAS JUST A JAM!!

The Kabaka used to go up to Linden and keep his "JAM" and then come to Kitty to make majr announcemenets.

Asj give me a break, Camera angles are known to fool people into believing there are more people than are actually there, have you ever been to a live studio show like SNL or the Rosie O'Donnel show? or Oprah? The studio and volume of people on TV looks massive but in the studio its a small group of people.

At one stage I know that whlist Ramotaur was speaking and he paused, there was this indian/african mixed drummings and people were having a grand time, there were a few pauses after when the drummings took over and then he continue again with his message.

From what I remember, you can barely fit a few hundred people at Alexander St and Shell Rd which is where Hillys is. You can fit a few more at Alexander and Barr Sts (where Burnham used to have his meetings) but I doubt you can fit a thousand people there either. Unless many of the buildings there have come down since I left Guyana.

True, true. I remember in 1992 the PPP meeting/rally in front of Parsatoon's Drug Store in Kitty was HUGE and that was estimated at best to be about 7000.
