Would the Rev's rubric dictate your answer to the question posed ? Here it is again:

So how many of you enjoy shopping and are usually happy while shopping and how many of you hate shopping ?

Rev

Oh, I thought you would have given us a rating scale. Come on Rev, we can't be so extreme.

A rating scale ?

Hmmmmm! Interesting.

The Rev is a man of numbers---I like that idea.

Based on the replies so far---Riya finds shopping heavenly---so on a scale of 1-10---Riya gets a 10; chameli hates shopping---she is wealthy and uses personal shoppers---so chameli gets a 5---she still shops---that helps the economy---so she gets credit---a 5 rating.

I guess you are wondering how you'll be rated, right Mira ?

You probably missed the wink-----after chami's post---she was joking about her "personal shoppers"----so the Rev just played along.

The psychiatrist comment was a joke----although many rich women are hooked on shrinks.

Riya:

The Rev has an idea what you are talking about regarding the "Joys of Shopping."

The woman in the Rev's life views SHOPPING as a RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE.hahahaha

Whatever that means!

Maybe it means---shopping for her is divine, transcendental, heavenly---only a woman would understand.

That lover of yours  must be nearly damn perfect---if that man used to stress you out---you'd likely be maxing out his credit card or debit cards at the shopping malls.hahahaha

Well Riya, the Rev has a very simple philosophy---if the woman is happy---then I am happy---and I like being happy.

That philosophy works like magic---zero stress.

And if this is her philosophy:

That's cool with me.

And to be honest---I like shopping too---I have been brainwashed.hahahahaha

The December issue of GQ magazine(p 283) describes it as "the best bloody leather jacket on the planet."

It's a Balmain leather jacket--GQ says, "In an era when any dad with decent air guitar moves can pull off a black leather Joey Ramone jacket--this avant( and hella-expensive) label Balmain pushed this classic into new territory by reimagining it in oxyblood. That instantly restored the moto jacket's rock 'n' roll edge, but just to be clear there's still nothing wrong with black. Price $3,920

How about the other guys on this forum ?

IS SHOPPING FUN OR A BORE ?

Rev

Rev,

Great thread here. Interesting response from the women of GNI.

I do the grocery shopping most of the time. My wife just hands me a list of items and where to buy and I just head out and get it done. What is interesting about grocery shopping is that good looking women would start a conversation (small talk) with me while I do grocery shopping.

Is this common for women ? Or are they turned on by men who are brave enough to take a shopping cart do the grocery ?

When I shop shop for myself, I know exactly what I want and head straight to the store that I need it from and get it. In and out, no delays. The only store where I spend a lot of time is the Music Store. I love my music and sometimes I get into trouble with the wife when I get home with another collection of Vinyl (records) to add to my growing collection.

Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus when it comes to shopping.
