except that most of Muka's songs remind me of 1974-1980...of someone who sang Muka's songs to me all the time!!!(memories can do strange things to the mind )

for me..its memory growing up in leguan..big bro used to sing mukesh songs..
his fave daily renditions were
saranga teri aadmi
teri yaad dil se bhulane chala
and manga tha pyar..

he also did a nice rendition of rafi's dil ne chupake pyar from aan!

im also reminded of the 6 short months i lived in Austin Sy C/ville...there was a beer garden 3 houses away.. SATURDAY afternoons from around 3pm to midnite..was sheer MUKESH songs gurl..
