VIRGINIA ATTORNEY GENERAL: EARLY VOTING FAVORS ROMNEY

Attorney General Cuccinelli wrote to supporters and declared that Republican-leaning areas have seen an increase in early voting from 2008, while localities which Obama won in 2008 have seen declines in their early voting totals from 2008.

These early voting numbers -- and Cuccinelli's analysis -- indicate that Obama would need turnout to match or surpass that of 2008 and to win independent voters if he is to win on Election Day. Nearly every poll shows Romney leading among independents in Virginia, and Democrats will likely not have the six-point advantage they had at the polls in 2008.

In 2008 506,000 absentee ballots were cast; in 2012 357,000

PUT VIRGINIA IN THE BAG FOR ROMNEY.

Hey Rev:

Rather than spewing out all these statistics on election day, let's wait for tomorrow to toot your horn. Maybe then you can validate your data(if they are accurate). Remember the saying "Boat gan ah falls; can't tun back now"?

The Rev prides himself in being a classy, dignified guy---you can rest assured that after Mitt Romney wins the election the Rev will not come here and gloat.

Over the past few months the Rev has made the case---using NUMBERS---why Romney will defeat Obama.

There will be no "tooting of horn" tomorrow when the Rev turns out to be right.

Listen!

If Obama were to miraculously win the election---the American people would have spoken---and you won't hear a word of criticism or condemnation from the Rev---I will actually congratulate Obama if he wins.

I believe in fighting a good fight---I have supported Romney 100%---if he loses---that's OK---in the end life always goes on---there will be no bitterness or animosity on my part if Obama pulls off a miracle.

Having said all of that:

MITT ROMNEY WILL BE ELECTED THE 45TH PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA TONIGHT.

In a perfect world, Obama should win by a landslide but there are gullible folk out there..lots.

EARLY TEA LEAVES---RESULTS FROM THE TOWN OF DIXVILLE NOTCH, NEW HAMPSHIRE

The tiny town of Dixville, New hampshire is usually the first in the nation to vote---the town usually votes after midnight on election day---there are 10 voters in Dixville:

2012 RESULTS:

Obama 5 votes

Romney 5 votes

First time ever there has been a tie in Dixville.

2008 RESULTS:

Obama 9 votes

McCain 1 vote

======================

Looks like Romney has the edge in New hampshire----put that state in the bag for MITT ROMNEY.

Rev

There are no numbers pointing to a Romney win. The hope and pray method is all he has and that depends on the baser instincts of white in the Cincinnati area and Western  Pa voting for him and that is a long shot. I have faith in them that while conservative, have a core ethic that can discern a shape shifter from a person grounded and with no less firm core beliefs.

You are as classy as a skunk and with no less the aroma. As a consummate liar and racist, you are way off target on being dignified also. That can only exist in your mind since dignity emerges from a compassionate, reasonable core not one filled with the muck of bilious race baiting and contemptuous lying.

Again, only in your mind there are "numbers" pointing to a Romney win. He will win if by some hitherto fore unmeasurable motivating medium moves people to do so in significant numbers to reconsider inside the voting booth.  Most informed voter will not have known what the hell he stand.

Rev

what superior numerical analysis have you performed? You regurgitate Rove's swill here and go farther than the worse of the republicans to the right wing fringe for the rest of your fodder.

No one at the moment knows who would win. Statistical gurus who actually know numbers are stymied. If Romney wins it will be like a coin toss and the reason that is still used to assign preference in instances is because of the equal probability for one side or another to be right.

That is how the numbers have arrayed themselves.It is left to the mechanics of GOTV and the individual and their conscience in the voting booth or the choice not to bother to vote. We only know one factor here, the GOTV side and Obama has the upper hand.

You will find out tonight! Months ago the Rev predicted Romney 53% Obama 47%---and Romney 300+ in the electoral college---and I was being very conservative.

As of today the Rev has updated his projection:

Romney 52% Obama 46%---Romney 315 electoral votes; Obama 223

RE: THE REV'S CALCULATION

Assumption made:

* Romney will win independents 53-40

* Party affiliation will be R+1 = 34 democrats/ 35 republicans/31 independents

* Obama will get 89% of democrats; 9% of republicans; 40% of Independents

* Romney will get 11% of democrats; 91% of republicans; 53% of independents

THE MATH:

Obama = (0.89 x 34) + (0.09 x 35) + (0.40 x 31) = 30.26 + 3.15 + 12.4 = 45.81

Romney = (0.11 x 34) + (0.91 x 35) + (0.53 x 31) = 3.74 + 31.85 + 16.43 = 52.02

FINAL RESULTS:

ROMNEY 52.02%

OBAMA 45.81%

ELECTORAL VOTES:

ROMNEY 315 EV OBAMA 223

Kari

There is no numerical evidence which is statistically sound which points to a guaranteed victory by either.;

1.  All surveys point to a gap less than the statistical margin of error.

2.  Support for both candidates is soft so we do not know who will vote, or who might change their minds at the last minute.

3.  Its clear that trhe GOP are playing a nqasty game in states like PA, OH, and FL, especially in  minority neighborhoods.  To what extent will it force some to walk away in disgust, having to get to work, not having the ability to spend all day trying to vote, or arguing with poll officials.

4.  We do not know if the final composition of voters will mirror the samples, most of which werer adjusted to account for an under sampling of poor minorities, and of people with no landlines.  People who are older, whiter and married are more likely to vote.  Romney controls this group.  However a growing % of the voters are Hispanics and Asians.  Obama controls this group.  The wild card being married white suburban females who prefer Romney in terms of how he will manage the economy, but prefer Obama on social issues, and are likely to be impressed by his handling of the Sandy victims.

We will know at some point. Tonight.  Tomorrow.  Or in December.

In the mean time Rev Al pushing your statistics as if they are a static measurement, when we do not know to what degree they explain human behavior.  If you are on suicide watch tomorrow,  I will "feel" your pain while I laiugh at your IndoNazi assumptions that most whites are as racist as you are.

Kari why do you have an obsession with me?

Is it that I raise valid points about Obama's weaknesses?  Much as dpMOST of those who voted for him do (watch MSNBC if you dont  believe), and you have no intelligent response, so you descend to the level of behavior that I expect of nehru.

Kari the "true" believers like you who still get goose bumps when THE ONE speaks are few in numbers.   Most of the votes he will get today will be because the GOP has been over taken by lunatics like Rev Al who must be stopped at all costs.

FYI I already voted and I voted Obama and Gillebrand.

Focus on those who are your real enemies.  The ones who peddle lies.  Not disappointed people like me who expected more of Obama, but still support him because the other guys are worse.

If Obama loses tomorrow, or his victory is too narrow to give him a true mandate (i.e. losing the popular vote and squeaking an electoral vote victory), do not blame Americans.  Blame Obama.  He would have failed to make his case.

It still amazes me that Obama couldnt put away Romney long ago.  The man is as much a SNL sketch as Pallin was with his bout of severe Romnesia and his habit of running against his own positions.

Please tell Romney this so that he stops belittling himself on Election Day by continuing to beg for votes.

Did you know Obama campaigned in Indiana on election day in 2008 ?

Listen Carib! Mitt Romney is a leave-nothing-in-the-gas tank kind of guy. He is fighting/campaigning to the end. Mitt has an admirable work ethic and isn't looking to knock off early.

He was an almost unknown senator.  He is not running today.

Romney ran in 2008 so should have far more name recognition now than Obama did then.

Check this out:

"ROMNEY LOOKS JOYOUS AND HAPPY...OBAMA DOES NOT"

Conservative columnist and former Obama supporter Peggy Noonan weighed in on today’s election on America’s Newsroom:

“George H. Bush struggled with the idea that he wasn’t going to win in the endâ€Ķ You can sort of see it and to me Romney certainly looks peaceful like someone who knows he gave it his very best and has no personal regrets. He really worked it and worked it hard. But he also seems joyous and happy. And the president does not to me.”

No obsession here. I was employing satire. Ii could have used Jesus Christ instead of CaribJ to show that Rev Al, Romney-like, is disavowing all the Nazi-like references to Obama by saying he's dignified, blah, blah. I was in fact giving you a shout-out and using you as exhibit "A" as decent when referring to politicians. Now you must have interpreted my post upside down.
