It's not a classical singer or a musical Guru but, our main stream singer Sonu Nigam, who was invited by Harvard University to be a part of their anniversary celebrations this year.
Sonu, who is busy touring the US and Canada, was contacted by the university but, the singer initially ignored it thinking that someone was playing a prank with him.
Sonu was honored to be a part of the prestigious celebration event and decided to give the guests at the Harvard University a taste of Gandhi's Bhajan, "Vaishnav jan to tene kahiye"Â which he translated in English and also changed the composition.
President Bush, who also attended the event, applauded Sonu's commendable performance. Sonu also expressed his thoughts on Gandhi and his teachings.
