While I thought it would be clear that the views I expressed on this thread: https://guyana.crowdstack.io/topic/i-have-not-left-the-afc are personal, persons on this forum are trying to construe them as being representative of the AFC.

So, for the record, I am stating that these views are solely mine and cannot be construed as coming from the Alliance For Change (AFC) political party.  I am only one executive out of 40 and I am not in the top leadership either; I am neither Leader, Chairman nor Vice-Chairman.  Any coalition will have to be decided upon at our National Conference where my voice and vote will be only one out of hundreds.

I hope this clears things up and that the admins here will arrest the perpetuation of the propaganda that seeks to make this a done deal.  If the admins want to maintain a semblance of fairness in this forum then they would not permit these types of inaccurate statements against the AFC.

On the issue of the personal and racist attacks toward me and even involving my wife, it is clear to me that the PPP is deathly afraid of an APNU/AFC coalition.  They are not afraid of the death of the AFC, otherwise they would have been happy to push the coalition along, or at a minimum, stay quiet.  I therefore take these signals to indicate that what I am doing is right at this juncture.

And to clarify, I am not pushing for a coalition to merely defeat the PPP (we saw that by simply removing the PNC in 1992 it did not automatically solve our national problems), though that is important in order to get Guyanese accustomed to changing Governments and toward creating a large group of swing voters who will ensure that one party never dominates again as the PPP and PNC have.  And so, I am also pushing for the coalition so that there will be Constitution, Electoral and Security Sector reforms.

* There is a large faction within the AFC that is longing and yearning for a PNC/AFC coalition. Back stabber Raphael Trotman(stabbed Moses) is member of that faction. Gerhard Ramsaroop is also a member of that faction.

Folks like poor and desperate Gerhard are worried sick. They know that neither the PNC nor the AFC can defeat the PPP in a general election.

* And so their last dying hope is for there to be a coalition between the AFC and PNC.

* Right now the stumbling block to Gerard's pipe dream of seeing a PNC/AFC coalition rule Guyana is Moses Nagamooto.

* NAGGA MAN SAYS  "NOT OVER MY DEAD BODY"---there will never be a PNC/AFC coalition.

* Of course, neemakaram Moses also said previously that no way he would ever join the AFC.

* So there may still be some hope for desperate Gerhard to see a PNC/AFC coalition---Nagga man may change his mind.

* But in the final analysis, a PNC/AFC coalition would guarantee a PPP majority win. And poor Gerhard will remain on the sidelines---a POLITICAL LOSER.

If doing the right thing makes me a political loser, so be it.  I have never cared for power, ever since I was a 4-year-old Pioneer.  I have only cared to overcome oppression.

Again, readers will note the Rev's resort to name-calling and racism.  He would not be doing so if there was nothing to fear from an APNU/AFC coalition, a coalition he says will guarantee his party, the PPP, a majority.

The Guyanese people will see through this, and the more the PPP hollers about the coalition and tries to defame the AFC and APNU, the more the people will gravitate toward them, mistakes, stumbles and all.  The simple fact remains, nothing looks worse than the PPP today.

I do not see a racist comment on Rev's post above. Stop hiding behind the race card. This is an open forum for discussion and I see you using your usual methods in trying to intimidate admin in an effort to silence your critics. This type of behaviour is quite disgraceful

Free speech must prevail. If you cannot handle it then you are free not to post or respond.

You are on record here supporting a coalition with the PNC. It is written in black and white for all to see. Many including myself see the PNC as a racist and rotten party. We suffered immensely under the PNC.

Do you expect us to roll over and embrace the PNC ? That might be okay with you by many have deep resentment for the PNC and rightfully so.

Gerhard, I find your response disappointing and troubling.

This part of my initial post is badly worded: "They are not afraid of the death of the AFC, otherwise they would have been happy to push the coalition along, or at a minimum, stay quiet."

It should have read, "If the coalition would lead to the death of the AFC and victory for the PPP, they would have been happy to push the coalition along, or at a minimum, stay quiet."

* You don't care for power you say ?

* POPPYCOCK! STOP THE LYING AND DECEPTION GERHARD.

* Every politician craves power and influence ?

* And cut the crap about being "a 4 year old pioneer" ---tell that nonsense to your loving 4 year old son, he'll believe you, but don't bring that hogwash here.

* You said you want to "overcome oppression." That is fancy and melodramatic talk by an opposition politician who is trying to con and deceive the masses into believing his motives are genuine.

* The truth is Gerard, you are just another cheap politician who is motivated by self interest, self worship, and self importance. So cut the bullshyt about your wanting to overcome oppression.

* LONG LIVE THE PPP---may they rule Guyana for generations to come.

Gerhard, I find your response disappoint and troubling.

yuji22, I have no issue that you find my response "disappoint and troubling".  Had you found it to be otherwise I would be worried

Rev's entire approach to the issue is laced with racism, his reference to my wife, to me being a back stabber and Uncle Moses a neemakaram, are all racist intonations.  I stand by that.

How is asking the admins to deal with an untruth an act of intimidation?  The AFC leadership has not pronounced on a coalition, nor are the results of the upcoming National Conference in October in.  Therefore, for you and Rev to proclaim on the coalition as a done deal is patently dishonest.  Yes, no?

Now yuji22, you most certainly don't have to heed me, but as one human being to another, I am asking that you reflect on your own racism and its consequences.  One of the consequences of your racism is what the PPP has become today.  Your rabid opposition to the PNC and by extension, the blackman, is why the PPP does what it does and why it thinks it will get away with it for quite some time in the future.  You are an Indian supremacist, but yet you cannot see how because of views like yours Indian people in Guyana suffer so much.  This is also why they are running in droves, and that in and of itself will lead to the defeat of the PPP.

I am only bringing this to your attention because of your ethnocentrism, and to make the point how counter-productive it is to your own narrow aim.  I hope I have given you some thought for reflection and as a fellow Guyanese, I wish you all the best.

Rev frequently rants about "dirty Indians" and cites GR as an example.  He calls Nagamootoo a traitor. Why?  In a democracy don't people have the right to support who ever they wish.  Is he a traitor because no Indian must support any other than the PPP?

Rev, you and others have a well earned reputation for your racism towards blacks and towards independent thinking Indians.  So don't get stressed when we see race behind every comment made by you all.

I will forever speak out against the racism that I suffered under the PNC until the last breath of my life.

Speaking out against PNC racism towards Indo Guyanese seem to hurt you a lot and you disgracefully label it racism. We were discriminated by the PNC just because we were Indos, we were treated like third class in our own country.  To this day, the PNC refuses to apologies to Indos. That may be fine with you but not me.

Oscar who helped Granger with his rigging is from Berbice and yes I am a Berbician and I am not afraid to reveal the disgusting and racist actions of Oscar. He used to carry busloads of people during the Burnham days to help with the rigging. It appears ok for you to remain silent but I will never sell my soul and remain silent.

Speaking out against PNC racism hurts you a lot, please take stock and stop labelling those who speak out against the PNC as racists, it will do you a lot of good.

Tell the thousands who were misplaced and those who were raped and murdered at places like Wismar that it is ok to support the PNC. Keep your distorted opinions to yourself.

The PPP will defeat the opposition in any free and fair election.

Ever wondered why the AFC chose not to offer you a seat in parliament ? Take stock yourself.

As some one who suffered racism you ought to condemn it where ever it shows.  Instead you engage in it and condone it today because what the PPP is doing to blacks is equivalent to what the PNC did to Indians. Shooting down protestors in COLD BLOOD, and condoning armed mercenary gangs is WRONG.  And also wrong is selecting people for positions, and excluding others for reasons of race and assumed political orientation.

After 22 years in power the PPP's hands are as awash in violence and racial oppression as the PNCs were after their 28 years.

And today the PPP is creating a group of angry Africans just as enraged as you are over the racist abuses that they must endure.

Except that the demographic time bomb is on THEIR side as the mixed population explodes and the Indian population implodes.  The PNC grabs the VAST majority of the mixed voters.

If for writing ones opinion one is a loser then you are the biggest of them. You actually live in a flat world reality where only what you think exists. That is self deception at its best.

Anyone wishing for the PNC to replace the PPP does not imagine their conclusion. The PPP are crooks and they have better odds for change to occur with a replacement of "not PPP" than the PPP. The PPP are such disgusting thieves they cannot rehabilitate unless they are all dead.

I do not know on what authority you presume to label others losers. You are a bloody dunce to begin with and worse a braggart with obsessive pretensions to sophistication. You are too lazy to think. Actually you are that extraordinary convergence of laziness and and stupid one sees as rare as a white whale and just as portentous to your pursuit of truth .

Gerhard, I'm glad you've issued this important statement.

The known critics of the AFC on this board are having a ball tarnishing and slandering the names of AFC officials like yourself.

Their poison and stones are especially directed at Khemraj Ramjattan and Moses Nagamootoo whom they are on record calling the nastiest names.

They fabricate lies and misrepresent and distort facts and resort to other dirty means to get at the AFC leadership.

If they are so confident that their corrupt and undemocratic PPP is Guyana's salvation, why don't they sing the glory of the PPP and leave the political opposition in peace?

* But politically, you will remain a loser and a failure. And your new "Messiah for Democracy" David Granger, we all know that RIGGER is a proven loser and will never, ever, ever lead Guyana.

Rev

If Rev may permit me in also wishing you well and success in your personal life. May your business prosper and may you and your family live a very happy and successful life.

We will not see eye to eye politically and I am very vocal in expressing my political views. You are sitting on the wrong side of political history.

Thank you, I appreciate it.  However, my conscience is my guide in my fight against injustice and oppression and I have no issue you disagreeing with me.  Time will reveal who I am and what I stand for.  So far, I have been consistent and intend to remain so.

Well said, caribny!

yuji22, no one denies what happened in the past.  My whole family suffered under Burnham's PNC, but Hoyte's reaching out to my father has absolved much of that for me.  My father's loyalty to Dr Cheddi Jagan was so great that we fought with all of our family resources (vehicles and manpower - even my three-year-old sister said at Good Hope, "We want Uncle Cheddi, we want Uncle Cheddi!) against the PNC in 1992.  My father could have easily become one the CREEPs, but did not and remained loyal to the PPP for 60 years!  Now today look at how the Rev seeks to disparage my father.

Today, yuji22, the shoe is on the other foot and the PPP is doing worse than the PNC ever did.  This is what I am standing up to.  You, on the other hand are no better than the Jews who suffered under Nazism but today are slaughtering the Palestinians.

Gerhard,

My hands and conscience are clean. I owe no one an apology.

You on the other hand support and want to form a coalition with the rotten and racist Riggers in the PNC. You are the one who should be ashamed of your actions.

Tells us who recently started and supported riots in places like Linden and Agricola ?

Why don't you begin and tell us, yuji22.  Tell us who killed a young African in cold blood, and who said, "Let's rumble!"  Go on, if you are honest.

You are running and hiding as usual when I ask the tough questions. Let me remind you about this, you will have to face the very people who were treated like third class citizens in their own country.

You are a follower and can do a lot better on your own. Ever wondered why the AFC never gave you a seat in parliament ?

* I told you before, Gerhard Ramsaroop is an opportunist and a carpetbagger like his father.

* We all know how racist and violent and murderous the PNC was, but you now have Gerard and his partner DONKEY CART ECONOMIST Tyrone Khemraj showering the PNC with praise and painting the RIGGER David Granger as the "Messiah for Democracy" in Guyana.

BOTTOM LINE:

* The good people of Guyana must never trust tricksters and confidence men like Gerard Ramsaroop---he is a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Rev

The PNC is no more racist than the PPP. In fact, black people have never had a barrier to integration. It cames with cultural prohibitions as rigid as steel from the other side that the PPP represent and mirror in many ways.

I also think they have out performed the old PNC many times fold in the areas of murder and larceny. Their commutative abuse of the nations trust by the PPP exceeds in increments tens of times that of the PNC. Who in the PNC have amassed any wealth as these crooks in the PPP? Add to that thir ethnic nepotism is not their main crime, They insult indians by denying them equal opportunity to offices of the state. Only their children and close relatives get to be at the head of the line.

lol!  Me running?  You are the one refusing to answer those two simple questions!

As to the issue of me being an MP, that only reveals I am not interested in a position.  So thanks, and I don't mind how often you ask me that.  You see, yuji22, people look at life from their own perspective and your asking me about this only reveals that for you it is all about position and power, and not about serving without reward.  This in turn reveals exactly what the PPP is today.  So you and Rev are not embarrassing the PPP in any way on GNI, you are simply an embodiment of precisely what the PPP is today.

* Glad to know the Rev's statements have energized and motivated you. It must have been mentally devastating for you recently to watch the turmoil in your hero David Granger's PNC party.

* Keep up with your futile and worthless efforts to help PNC RIGGER David Granger become president of Guyana.

* By the way gerard, when next will you and the donkey cart economist, Tyrone Khemraj, pen a Stabroek News letter heaping praises and adoration on your new hero, your Messiah For Democracy, the PNC RIGGER David Granger ?

You can laugh all you want. I am firm in the notion that you are a big waste of time. One is reminded of the school yard bully who shouts the loudest and is not reticent to push playmates aside to jump ahead on the slide or the swing. Alas, that is the very one what complains loudly and feigns serious injury if the skinny kid gives him a knuckle sandwich to the nose for being rude.
