@Totaram, no need for elaborate statistical analysis to ascertain probabilities of outcome after the event has occurred.  You can now do a postmortem of the elections.

What is needed now is the credible and transparent verification of the outcome.

The Caricom leaders expressed shock that PNC and GECOM are objecting to any recount of ballot boxes for Region 4  as a final remedy in the case of disagreements with SOP. 
PNC controlled GECOM has demonstrated that they want to use “technicality” as an excuse not to produce credible, transparent, free and fair elections. The international community will not accept anything less than free and fair election results and will depend on the observers pronouncements. The PNC controlled GECOM cannot get away with fraudulent election counts.

as a reasoning individual you cannot say the numbers make no sense. That would imply you have "sensible" numbers. Establish that first before you conclude otherwise.

And yes on can use statistics for more than predicting possible outcomes. They are a forensic tool also. We know the results of the other regions and the PPP are up some 51 K. It means from the advantage of the APNU in the last elections in region 4 (40K), the APNU has to perform some 20 percent better to catch up.

They certainly have not done so  in any of  past elections here or else where. In this election they under performed everywhere else. Of course that does not mean they did over perform here this time. However they are claiming beyond a statistical range to some 25 to 30 percent improve performance. Let the votes be counted properly so we would know
