That's the new software forum main page nothing can be changed there.

On topics page there is a box click on it pop menu have all forums for selection.

Mits after log in click on Forum Status on navigation bar latest post and topics are on page. Forum Status page is for guidance .

Two pages are of importance on forum Home and Topics.

It's simple with the minimum of two clicks. Changes are always good for success.

I still think that instead of tags, we should see a listing of the various Forums rather than navigating to find them. I don't use "Tags"; maybe it is popular with other members.

I have two tabs opened on browser Forum Status https://guyana.crowdstack.io/pages/forumstatus and Forum Directory https://guyana.crowdstack.io/forum-directory

Another problem is when a topic is selected it goes to the first post rather than to the most recent or last post. It's cumbersome or time consuming to scroll down to the last post. 

Its a bug I think. I figured what is happening.

If you are on the Forums Directory page and click on the topic, it will take you to the last reply for that topic.

But once you are in the actual forum and click on each independent topic it takes you to the first post instead.

Django should bring this to Crowdstack attention

@Amral , thanks for understanding the problem. Am a poster. So I am looking at specific topics or specific posters to interact with. The older version gave access by showing the listings on the RH side upon signing on.

I just posted to the admins to find out.

The reason for the difference in behavior is that the Home page lists all posts (across multiple content types) in chronological order according to when they were posted. Since they are sorted in chronological order, the links take you to the original post in the topic.

On the forum directory, those are lists of topics only (and no other content types) in chronological order by last reply. Since those are sorted by last reply, the links take you to the last reply in the topic.

Thus, the behavior you have described is by design and can't be changed directly in the platform. You could probably change the behavior through custom JavaScript, but that would require advanced web development skills (beyond what we offer in support).

Note that this platform is technically for our Crowdstack service offering, which is different from our Crowdstack Pro offering that you are using. Our customer support is now handled through email, so if you have support inquiries in the future, it's best to send them directly to support@crowdstack.com.

However, open a topic should allow for the opening of the last or most recent post rather than the first post. It's tedious to scroll down and even more tedious when there are more one page.

Well that can't be helped as you read what the other end wrote back.

There use to be a widget on the right side that use to show the latest reply.

Still there on Forum Directory ,If you are using phone will be at bottom of page. There is one problem with the New Version,admin have no control of widgets on forum pages. Widgets are in iframes code which can be pasted on Website pages .

We have had discussions that went on for pages. It is to time consuming for one has to scroll thru every page to get to the last post.  The older system was was much more efficient.
