Mind explaining that?

When successful Afro Guyanese, who own businesses outside of Guyana and can get access to banks in those countries, report that they cannot in Guyana you know that there is a problem.

But you endorse discrimination by the private sector if it is blacks who they punish.  So start screaming that it is racist for any discussion about whether there is discrimination against black by the banks in Guyana.

It's hard not to respond to you without using obscenities because you're so infuriatingly ignorant. I asked what was meant by "government GIVING something to black people that is DENIED Indian people".

The reason why this meeting was arranged was because blacks have been complaining since the late 90s about systemic discrimination against them by the private sector.  You all Indians laughed at them, called them racists and ranted that "dem black man cyan run cake shop".

Its just amazing the blatant anti blackness that occurs in Guyana. And I learned this from other Caribbean people who have visited Guyana and saw the treatment of blacks during the PPP that reminded them of the colonial era in their islands.  They were perplexed that Afro Guyanese appeared to tolerate this when in the post WII era they were well ahead of other blacks in the Caribbean.

So unless you deal with that problem you will see blacks demanding that the public sector address this inequity.

But you only care when you think that Indians face exclusion. Well the best way for Indians to avoid exclusion is to ensure that NO group in Guyana is excluded!

Show me where I endorse or endorsed discrimination against blacks in any sector. I said I don't believe in Affirmative Action. If YOU have an inferiority complex and believe that that is the only way blacks can move up, that is your problem. It certainly is not my belief or opinion. There is an old cowboy saying, "Never approach a bull from the front, a horse from the rear, or a fool from any direction". Immediately you come to mind.

GTAngler

And there is NO place in all of this where anyone is saying that only blacks will get loans.  Not even Eric Phillips is asking for this.  They want to ensure that small businesses gain better access to loans.

Given who owns most of the small businesses I find it hilarious that some scream that Indians will be excluded.  In fact small business owners will be included.  Without regard to race.  In fact it will be the banks and not the gov't who will decide on this.  The banks allowed to take more risk because 70% of the loan will be guaranteed so their losses will be 30% of the unpaid portion of the default.

As soon as blacks advocate for their rights people like GTAngler get heart attacks.  He would rather blacks remain as security guards and cashiers.

You do because you refuse to allow any discussion of discrimination against blacks.  Even as you scream about cries of Indian exclusion and you do NOT cite this as evidence of "Indian inferiority" when blacks make similar claims this is how you discredit them.

The fact remains that racism exists in Guyana and you want to stifle any discussion of it.  That is unless you think that it is Indians who are being victimized, then you jump and wail and scream!

You didn't even take the time to see that no one is asking the gov't to make any special concession to blacks.  The loan decisions will be made by the lending officers.  Yes the SAME folks who already think that blacks shouldn't be offered loans.

Next time anyone wails about under representation of Indians in any facet of Guyana my response will be that they suffer from an inferiority complex.  I bet that you will scream and call me a racist for saying this.

Nonsense, the bauxite workers termed the phrase "father of the nation" in reference to Jagdeo with the various safety nets that the then govt put in place to ease their pain.

I am indifferent to the PPP, they didn't do a good job too.
But the PNC takes the cake on incompetence, especially with supporters like you who will fetch their slop can and bear the stench without complaining.

There you go the implicit racist that you are. I did NOT raise any discussion of affirmative action for ANYONE in Guyana.  Yet you default to that and are now tying yourself in knots as you fell into a hole of your making.

If I didn't demand affirmative action for blacks why will I care whether you favor it?

You are an implicit racist because you have double standards.  The private sector can discriminate against blacks but blacks cannot discriminate against Indians when they have the power to do so!

NOW CAUGHT IN A WEB OF YOUR OWN NONSENSE YOU TRY TO CONFUSE THE ISSUE BY THINKING THAT THIS IS ABOUT AFFIRMATIVE ACTION.  IT IS NOT.

IN FACT THE ONLY GROUP IN GUYANA WHICH DESERVES AFFIRMATIVE ACTION ARE AMERINDIANS.

Why did bauxite workers consider Jagdeo to be "father of the nation" when in NO election did the PPP win more than 20% of the votes in region 10?   You repeat what some starving PPP milk drinker said when Jagdeo visited.  Obviously few bauxite workers agreed with him, based on the thrashings that the PPP has received in virtually every single election.

I will remind you that 10% of the population are Amerindians because this area includes many riverain areas and not just Linden.  So this means that the PPP did even worse among the bauxite workers.  In fact 2015 showed almost record voter turnout.

Apparently the beating that I used to give you continue to prevent you from thinking clearly.  If you direct posts at me I will continue to treat you like the pathetic idiot that you are.  Go play with Nehru!

I am saying that no Guyanese should receive preferential treatment.  The same ones who screamed about "dem lazy and ungrateful blackman" now want sugar workers to receive support.   This because the bulk of them are Indians.

They scream that bauxite workers got cheap electricity so should be happy. I state that sugar workers should be treated the same, or these PPP frauds should then admit that Jagdeo's treatment of the bauxite workers was an abomination!

They cannot rant that Linden got free electricity so should shut up and then scream that to offer only that to sugar workers is cruel.  This is the double standards that I talk about.

Or do you claim that sugar workers receive better treatment because they are Indians!

You know very well this topic and the people of Linden at the time who called Jagdeo the father of the nation. In fact one blackman mentioned that PPP give milk while PNC gave black tea. Don't play stupidie with your forgetful self.

FM

These topics must be discussed during the next election and the PPP must bring up these injustices that Indos and Natives Face.

PNC is displaying blatant pre 1992 racism and they try to label anyone who challenges them. The are labelling all Indos as wife abusers, thieves and drug smugglers and Indos do not dare bring up Social Ills, it is branded as racist.

They are branding Indos and when Indos fight back, they are muzzled PNC Apartheid style.

Look at how Broomes have been shielded by Granger despite her attacking and harassing Security Personnel. I am sure that she will be in charge of securing Ballot Boxes.

What is good for the goose is good for the gander. PPP must NOT waste their time and resources on certain group of voters and focus on the Native Votes and a few Douglas and they will cross the line with a Massive Indo turnout.

In the meanwhile, Linden continues to receive Billions in subsidies and now this news of massive subsidies and assistance exclusive to Afros only.

Sugar workers and their families are going to bed hungry belly and white mouth is returning pre 1992.

Time to speak out !!!!! PNC pre 1992 Apartheid has returned !!!!!!!
