The AFC jumping ship is a joke.  If APNU loses and becomes an opposition party of what use will the AFC be. They will contest the election together and when they lose (and I am 99% sure that they will) the AFC is finished as a party. They will join the WPA in being irrelevant.

So in fact its the AFC who are the big losers as APNU will show enough muscle to carve out some role within parliament.

Probability is not evidence for someone to emphatically state that Jagdeo WILL install Anil. Most of the chatter is that Jagdeo prefers Irfan. That is of higher probability but that is not evidence either.

15 people in a room aren't deciding who 740 thousand should accept as president. 15 people in a room is only deciding who 740 thousand people will chose from for president. No one has to vote for that person if they don't want to. Even the parties here have different ways of nominating their candidates and sometime they get burned as in the case with Hillary. If those 15 people put someone that most of the 740 thousand people don't like, they will continue to occupy the seats they were occupying on Friday.

Are you hoping that the PPP would open their selection process more broadly so that they can provide a candidate that will make it easier for you to not have to vote for the PNC if you were able to vote?

For the record, I have not viewed any footage of Jagdeo speeches outside from the few that I saw from the House of Assembly. In those instances, Jagdeo owned that house. He has a commanding presence that puts everyone else into defense mode. He makes statements very clearly and concisely. Therefore, I have not heard Jagdeo make those comments so I cannot just take your word for it. You do make stuff up on GNI don't you?

As of this moment, the onus of failing to reform the Constitution is on the Coalition government. Nah go back to a time when the PNC refused to cooperate with the ruling PPP government. In the case of the past three years, the Coalition were stuck in quick sand on this matter. Now if the PPP retake the government after next year's election, then the onus will be transferred to them. Nah try tek Coalition shit and dab am pan de PPP.

I just finished talking to someone who just spoke to his young brother in Toronto, the family and some close friends knew 10 days ago that he was defecting. but fear for his life they swore not to tell. They said he did not get paid, not a cent, he had planned this idea for months, had bought plane ticket, arrange security and just waited for the right opportunity . He still has a big brother in Guyana into Pharma business. He will chill for awhile then return for election if all goes well.

When Hinds and Lewis were chased off the Chronicle by Moses Nagamootoo (NOT by Harmon) he could have spoken out about this.  He said NOTHING.

Why was Hinds chased away by Nagamootoo. Because he claimed that the Coalition acted in breech of their promises and that APNU excluded the smaller parties from major decision making. The SAME excuses that Charrandass is now giving for his vote.

Large numbers of people will think the worst of this man and this is what he will have to deal with. Seen as a corrupt man who took Judas money and was a YES MAN until this was arranged.
