Whenever duets are being sung and listened to, this would certainly comes to mind; Lata when she was a teenager, Mukesh very young, the movie was a mega hit during its days, "Barsaat" evoked so much memories whenever it is mentioned; the songs even today could be regarded as hummable hits.
The soothing voices of Mukesh and Lata blended so superbly in this tune, it can be reffered to as one of the best duets ever. How can we not include this one.

Remember back in GY, friends invited you to their religious functions...Jhandi, Jags, and other or even a wake house; Panditji would be doing their thing and at interval he would ask the Kirtan Group to do their thing and during those time, this one was really popular, the guys uses to sing this as well as the girls; see if anyone remember this: Some drunkman would even dance on this

The singer that came the closest to imitate Mukesh was Babla Mehta:

No, this is a different Babla from Babla and Kanchan fame:

Some says that our own Davendra Pooran was closest, also there was other singers from GY long ago, singers like Gobin Ram, Mohan Nandu, Balkarran Boys, Kumar but my opinion is that Babla Mehta take the cake:
